How TDS BID doubled app ARPU with Easy Monetization

TDS BID introduced Easy Monetization in one of its client apps, expanding its setup from one ad network to nine. As a result, the app’s ARPU doubled. Adding app open ads later led to an additional 2.5x increase in ARPU. Following the successful pilot, TDS BID scaled the solution to 33 client apps.

About TDS BID

TDS BID is a digital advertising and AdTech company that helps mobile app publishers grow their ad revenue. Its services include ad network integrations, proprietary tech solutions, programmatic advertising, and monetization optimization.
TDS BID primarily works with iOS and Android games and utility apps, targeting audiences in Russia and other CIS countries, South Korea, the US, and Türkiye.
Advertising accounts for 55–65% of its clients’ revenue on average, rising to 85–90% for some gaming apps. Rewarded video and interstitial ads generate the largest share of ad revenue.

The challenge

TDS BID works with multiple ad networks to find the right demand for different apps and geographies. However, maintaining each integration separately takes up significant development resources.
The team wanted to improve monetization in Russia and the CIS, increase eCPMs in key markets, and reduce the technical overhead of managing multiple SDKs.
Easy Monetization became the ideal solution for a client's new fanfiction reading app on Android. The choice was clear: TDS BID had already successfully integrated the platform into eight apps for other publishers. Furthermore, having already monetized the client's website, the team's next goal was to capture their new mobile audience.
By switching to Easy Monetization, TDS BID would gain access to a pool of ad networks through a single mediation platform and tap into Yandex’s expertise, all while avoiding the need to integrate multiple separate SDKs.
Azret Akhmetov, Commercial Director at TDS BID
“For us, it’s not just about adding another solution for a client. We want to understand how it can drive revenue over time. What we value most about working with Easy Monetization is the team’s expertise, the transparent data, and the ability to find new growth points for each app together.”

The solution

On September 24, 2025, TDS BID integrated the pilot app with Easy Monetization. Previously monetized solely through the Yandex Advertising Network, it was now integrated with eight additional ad networks: AppLovin, BIGO Ads, Digital Turbine, ironSource, Liftoff, Mintegral, Unity Ads, and VK Ads. All nine demand sources were now available through a single SDK.
Easy Monetization experts optimized the mediation setup based on user geography. The teams also agreed upfront that if the pilot delivered growth, they would move on to testing additional ad formats.
The pilot showed strong numbers, so on November 20, the teams introduced app open ads, a full-screen format shown when users launch or return to the app.
Encouraged by this success, TDS BID began rolling out the solution to more client apps. The Easy Monetization team handled ad network setup, recommended new formats and placements, and provided integration support. The experts also hosted a training session for TDS BID managers and a strategy session focused on monetization across the client portfolio.

The result

After TDS BID switched to Easy Monetization, the pilot app’s ARPU doubled. eCPM also increased across its key ad formats: up 154% for interstitial ads and 267% for banners.
App open ads became the next stage of optimization. After the new format was introduced, ARPU grew another 2.5x, while overall eCPM rose by 80%.
The new setup also made it easier for TDS BID to onboard more apps. With a single integration instead of several, the time required to connect a new app was cut roughly in half.

“We started with two goals: to give the partner access to more ad networks and to remove the complexity of maintaining multiple SDKs for their team. But the real value comes from what happens next. We stay closely involved, testing hypotheses, identifying the right formats, and optimizing the setup for each app’s audience. This turns monetization from a one-off technical integration into an ongoing process of driving revenue growth.”

What the partnership delivered

What started with a single pilot app has grown into a broader partnership: today, 33 TDS BID client apps use Easy Monetization.
For TDS BID, this means
  • Access to multiple ad networks through a single integration
  • A dedicated team that helps set up and continuously optimize monetization
  • An ongoing partnership where both teams analyze performance, test new formats, and scale what works
TDS BID’s advice to other publishers:
Take a gradual approach. Start with one or two apps, collect data for 3–4 weeks, and if you see consistent growth, scale the solution across your portfolio.
